UMPIRING

Umpires are the lifeblood of any club, and Bondi Phoenix LOVES our umpires!

 

We offer training and development for our umpires - who are paid once they reach key milestones. Players aged 11 years and older are encouraged to join our Umpires Development Program, which we run regularly through the year.

Speak to your coach if you are interested in umpiring & buy yourself a finger whistle like this. Now you can start to umpire the games we play at the end of training & start gaining confidence with your rules knowledge, blowing your whistle and making the calls.

The first thing you need to do is take your Netball Rules Exam here (you will need to create a log-in that will be used for any umpiring or coaching qualifications you might do). 

​

Once you have developed your skills & passed your rules exam, book on to one of our umpiring day workshops to put your knowledge to practical use.
